Meet 1N
In 1N we have 22 students and our teacher is Mrs Allen. We love art and sport. We are enjoying learning about our local environment this term. In IN, we love reading and writing every day.
We enjoy Maths groups where we learn new skills and strategies and we get to play lots of fun Maths games.
We like to play drama games and sing songs!
In 1N, we love Class Dojo ad we are focusing on having a 'growth mindset'.
We love to learn by having fun!

1A Mrs Amos
1A are learning to play the ukulele this year. We also enjoy maths groups each day, especially when it is our turn on the computer. 1A are looking forward to making a 3D model of our school and visiting the Healthy Harold van in Term 1.
In the morning, we spin the globe and look at different countries in the world.
On Tuesday afternoons we get to use the laptops and look at Reading Eggs and Maths Online.
Each morning we get to tell news to our kookaburra puppet Kylie. Some people tell news on the Smart board and show us pictures of their holidays.
On Wednesdays we have P.E and we are learning how to play soccer.

We are learning about the turtles that laid eggs on our local Coffs Harbour beach.
1P Mrs Phillips
1P are a great group of children who work hard and are committed to learning. There are10 boys and 12 girls in the class and Mrs Phillips is the class teacher. They are currently studying a unit of work called 'People, places and spaces'. This unit involves understanding the difference between manmade, natural and managed environments. It also requires the children to draw and read a variety of maps with symbols. The children of 1P enjoy working neatly in their spelling, writing, and mathematics books. They also love creating beautiful art works! 1P have been visiting their school Library and Computer room each week for lessons as well as learning new skills in P.E with Ms Ferrier.
