Art show

Cupcake Art class a big hit at this year's Art Show!!

The Cupcake Art class was all a buzz last Tuesday night as twenty lucky students had the chance to create some amazing tastes using icing, sprinkles and of course lollies! A great deal of fun was had by all, especially Mrs Fenton and Mrs Hardy.

School musical performance

In 2009, Narranga Public School officially opened its very own, long awaited school hall.  Complete with electric curtains, lighting bar, mixing desk and a sound system that will truly rock you, the hall presents an empty stage just begging us to tread the boards.

Narranga students have performed in major musical productions for three consecutive years.  The calibre of our young actors, singers and dancers is high and students are coached and encouraged by a team of teachers who are dedicated to the Performing Arts.  Incorporating our school choir, dance troupe, actors and sound and lighting crew, students are involved in many aspects of the production process and there are many opportunities for students to get in on the fun.

The resulting excitement for learning, blossoming self-confidence and sheer love of the arts is an amazing reward for all the hard work that the students and teachers put in, and the obvious joy and appreciation felt by audiences makes the process even more rewarding.

Check out the pages with photographs from the plays we have done, and make sure that you come and join us in September 2012 for our latest play, Aladdin.
