On Tuesday 11th August the boys' soccer team travelled to Grafton to play against Westlawn PS in the Mid North Coast final of the State Football knockout.
The team made an outstanding start with Christian Mirindi blasting in a volley from 30 metres inside 20 seconds to give Narranga the early lead. The boys continued to pile on the pressure as the opposition struggled to cope with some excellent team play. Christian, Harry O and Alistair tore apart the Westlawn defence to have the team leading 4-0 at halftime. In the 2nd half, the boys changed positions but still managed to score another 3 goals. The final score was 7-0 meaning Narranga are the Mid North Coast champions for the 4th time in 5 years! The boys have played some outstanding football in the first 5 games have scored a massive 28 goals whilst only conceding 2. The next game is against Tacking Point PS in the North Coast Semi Final in Week 7.
Narranga Public School has been successful in having 3 students selected for the boys Mid North Coast Soccer Team.
