A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is a mandatory requirement for people who work or volunteer in child-related work. Our volunteers are an important, valued part of our school culture and time invested with students is greatly appreciated. If you are considering becoming a volunteer at Narranga Public School, kindly complete the process appropriate to you as listed below.

There are two categories of volunteers:
A) Appendix 5
This applies to parents or close relatives who volunteer at their child's school. (Within the classroom, around the school, on an excursion or at a sporting event – eg helpers with reading, canteen, sport etc)
You will need to complete the following:
Declaration Form and 100 Points ID Check
- Collect the WWCC Declaration Form and 100 Points of ID Check (Appendix 5 and 6) from the school office or print off the Declaration and 100 Points ID please click below.
- Complete and bring the form to the school office, together with 100 points of identification (see Appendix 6).
- The declaration and 100 points of identity check will be verified by the office. Identification will be copied, and originals returned to you.

B) Appendix 11
This applies to those who are not a parent or close relative of a student at the school at which they are volunteering.
You will need to complete the following:
WWCC Application Process for Volunteers (no fee payable)
- Complete the online application form
- Once completed, you will receive an application number which you need to present, with proof of identity, to Service NSW.
- Once your application has been processed you will be notified via email.
- Please bring this email confirming your WWCC to the school office for recording.
