Catching public transport

Public transport is a great way to safely get to and from school.

Catching a bus

Teachers are rostered on bus duty from 8:40am. If a child misses their bus home school staff will contact their parent or carer to make other plans.

Riding on Bicycles

Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 must be accompanied by a parent and students in Years 3-6 may ride their bikes to school independently.

All students must wear helmets the entire time they are riding their bicycles.

Bikes and scooters are to be stored in the designated bike rack area and secured with a chain and lock. The school is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school
• do not call your children from across the road.

Parking on school grounds

Parents and carers must use only designated drop-off and pick-up areas. Vehicles are not to stop in bus zones or in areas marked with ‘No Standing’ or ‘No Stopping’ signs. Please do not park across neighbouring driveways.

For safety reasons, the staff car park is not to be used for parent or carer access at any time.
