Canteen opening times
Kelso Kitchen is open 5 days a week and is operated by your P&C with the aim of providing high quality, healthy snacks and lunchtime meals to students and staff at a reasonable cost. Where possible, we endeavour to source organic and free range produce.
We hand-make and prepare a range of snack and lunchtime menu items in the canteen each day and we follow the guidelines set out in the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy, as we avoid colourings and preservatives where possible. As a P&C run business, the canteen belongs to the parent body and we are always looking at ways to improve and meet the wishes and needs of parents – your feedback is welcome.
Order from our canteen
Kelso Kitchen uses online ordering via FlexiSchools. Flexischools is a great online system to make the ordering of lunches easier and more convenient.
Order lunch online
To order with Flexischools please follow these steps:
- Go to https://flexischools.com.au/
- Click 'Register Here' to create an account. Registration is easy and free
- Follow the steps on your screen to create a profile.
- Once you've created your profile, add your child/ren under the 'Students' section.
- You are now ready to top up your Flexischool wallet and begin ordering lunch!
Once registered you can download the Flexischool App on Apple App Store or on the Google Play Store.
Ordering without internet access
If you do not have internet access, orders can be dropped off at the canteen each morning by 9:15 am. On your child's bag please write their:
- Name,
- Class, and
- Order
All orders must be handed into the canteen with exact payment. If you do not have the correct payment we will endeavour to accommodate, but since we are a predominately Flexischools canteen, this is not always possible.
Please note that credit cannot be given.

Our volunteers are vital in keeping costs affordable while keeping the high quality of food that our students deserve. The Canteen relies on a team of 10+ parent and community volunteers who are trained by our canteen manager to prepare school lunches.
